Clinical Research Nurse  

Are you ready to use your clinical skills and experience in a fresh, innovative and rewarding environment? EMS Healthcare is looking for Clinical Research Nurses to work on one of our most exciting client projects.   

Working on a pioneering cancer detection study, you’ll be expected to bring your clinical expertise and passion for research to the role, delivering the project on board our fleet of purpose-built mobile medical units and making a real difference to patients’ lives.  

As our new Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a pivotal role within the Clinical Services team at EMS Healthcare and as the lead Clinical Research Nurse on board the unit, you will be responsible for the daily running of the facility as well as leading and managing the clinical team.

If you’re ready to help our clients overcome a range of complex challenges while still providing world-class medical care, this is what we’re looking for:  

  

Key skills and requirements:  

  • RCN registered Nurse with an active PIN essential 
  • Experienced and skilled in the practice of venipuncture – with an up-to-date training history essential 
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training essential 
  • Informed Consent experience and an up-to-date training history essential 
  • Experience of staff / team management or supervision desirable 
  • Experience in the conduct of clinical trials essential 

 

Other requirements:

  • Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license
  • The ability to travel within the allocated cancer alliance
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a self-motivated way
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Have relevant IT skills to perform the role
  • Possess high standards of integrity, professionalism, and sensitivity
