Facilities Manager

The Company

EMS Healthcare own, operate and manage one of the UK’s most extensive fleet of mobile medical units. Our vital, tailor-made facilities can be configured to suit a range of clinical environments and have been supporting healthcare providers for over ten years. EMS Healthcare aim is to deploy medical unit throughout Europe and respond to the short and long term need the Healthcare sector may have and work with them in partnership to deliver better service. 

Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Director.  

Responsible for ensuring that EMS Healthcare vehicle fleet is maintained to the highest presentation standards, state of readiness and mechanical reliability at all times in order to meet the business and legislative operational requirements. Currently operating in the United Kingdom, the role will be crucial in expending the business throughout Europe. 

Carry out site recognisance, surveys and audits of deployed assists to ensure SLA’s, operational, and legal compliance levels are met.

  • Good Listening skills, to fully understand the requirements of each job, particularly when verbally briefed.
  • An understanding of the basic IT packages of Word, Excel and Social media sites is an advantage.
  • Flexible attitude to work, the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and situations.
  • Having worked in the events industry or a customer facing environment is an advantage but is not essential.
  • An Enhanced disclosure will be required which will be met by the Company.

Management

  • Maintain Certification and Legal Compliance 
  • Advise on H&S Legislation 
  • Advise and guide on HBN and HTM Protocols 
  • Draft reports and make written recommendations 
  • Manage budgets and ensuring cost effectiveness  
  • Source negotiate & monitor contractors 
  • Project Management  

Operational Duties

  • Site Recognisance and Surveys 
  • Site Visits, Audits and Report 
  • Coordinate the Deployment of Healthcare Assets 
  • Fault Response, Rectification and Reporting 
  • Project Estimates for Deployment, Movement, Service and Maintenance 
  • Internal/External Project Meetings and Report 
  • Supplier Liaison / SLAs 
  • Project Manage Trailer Fit-out and Maintenance work  
  • Technical Report 
  • Fleet Maintenance Scheduling and Budgeting 
  • Health & Safety – RAMS/Legionella Control 
  • Vehicle Presentation and ongoing Quality Audit 

Experience 

  • Understanding of Building HBN & HTMS 
  • Ability to manage & deliver multiple tasks to a high standard on time and in budget 
  • Technical understanding, electrical, mechanical and fabric 
  • Proven organizational skills 
  • Highly motivated 
  • Self-disciplined 
  • Strong focus on quality 
  • Clear and confident communicator at all levels, both internally and client facing 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations 
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified 
  • Project Management 
  • Ability to deal with people at all level 
  • Engineering understanding  
  • Mechanical and Auto Electric understanding 
  • IT – Word, Excel, PowerPoint 

Other Requirements

  • Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license and have suitable transport provisions (public transport is not recommended due to location of offices) 
  • Able to travel throughout the UK and Overseas

Sales and Marketing Manager

Introduction

An opportunity has arisen to expand the team with the addition of a part time Sales and Marketing Manager. Working from our HQ near Chester we need someone to support the team with marketing tasks, research projects and administration.

Role

Working closely with all members of the team you will provide marketing, administrative and research support for the Commercial Manager, Operations Manager and Project Manager. Responsible for several core day to day tasks in addition to weekly research and project related tasks.

  • Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Department: Healthcare
  • Based: Head Office, Ellesmere Port
  • Reporting to: Commercial Manager
  • Contract type: Part time, 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Principle Duties

  • Social media (idea generation, scheduling, keeping track of competitor activities)
  • Assisting with marketing materials (e.g. liaising with Videographer / Photographer)
  • Sourcing marketing assets (e.g. liaising with suppliers, cost generation for direct mail, client gifts)
  • Liaison with PR agency
  • Working with Group Marketing team to update and refresh website with new content
  • Produce exhibition and conference yearly schedule
  • Liaison with our partners marketing teams
  • Obtaining sign off from the client on PR and marketing activity
  • Additional Day-to-Day Duties
  • Carry out sector research and data gathering exercises to support business development activities (both online and on the phone)
  • Blog and newsletter idea generation
  • Competitor research and keeping abreast of relevant sector news and the implications on the business

Skills

  • Marketing experience essential (minimum of 5 years experience), social media experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation

Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the implementation and delivery of a number of mobile healthcare projects. The role is varied and challenging with responsibilities including project milestones, monthly reports, financial reporting and responding to client enquiries and challenges.

  • Department: Healthcare
  • Based: Head Office, Ellesmere Port
  • Reporting to: Project Manager
  • Contract type: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Principle Duties

  • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of client projects. From pre-planning to ongoing management to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the agreed specification and budget
  • Follow internal processes and procedures to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure quick resolution of ad-hoc issues for clients
  • Administrative support for the project and operations team including: raising PO’s, managing query log, setting up on line files, collating information for monthly status reports

Skills

• Experience in an office environment essential
• Strong written and verbal communication
• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisation
