Creating additional patient dialysis slots

A cost-effective solution to increase renal dialysis capacity

King's College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the busiest Trusts in London and like many Trusts, faces the daily challenge of increasing demand for space and services.

We provided them with a renal dialysis facility at Dulwich Community Hospital, creating much needed additional dialysis capacity.

With renal dialysis solutions ranging from 8 to 13 renal stations, our mobile units can create additional patient dialysis slots, or support with continuity of service during refurbishments.

Client testimonial

We opted for a temporary mobile facility as it provided the most time and cost-effective solution. It offers a clinical and flexible environment that is essential for the trust to continue to provide first class patient care.

Enabling continuous patient care

St George's University Hospital required an urgent solution to ensure the continuation of care during some unforeseen building work. Within 6 weeks we deployed a unit with 8 renal stations.

St George’s were able to continue to provide vital patient care, with an uninterrupted service throughout the construction period.

Lead Renal Nurse said: "On behalf of the clinical staff thank you for the excellent service we received. Your willingness to listen to our wishes and the ability to meet our requirements was very much appreciated."
