MOBILE TESTING LABORATORY
As the largest Covid-19 testing provider in the UK, and a partner in the Government’s National Covid-19 Testing Programme, Randox required a unique solution to increasing testing capacity across the UK. Our mobile units provided the ideal environment to carry out the sampling, collection and processing of tests all in one functional space that could also readily relocate as needed.
The 7 mobile testing laboratories are located at multiple sites throughout the UK and are fully operational within 1 hour of arriving on site. Running 7 days a week, the mobile Covid testing units utilise cutting-edge PCR technology that can take as little as 30 minutes and provide an average of 1,000 tests per day. The service continues to support the safe reopening of businesses and provides fit to fly certificates for international travel.
"The EMS Group were uniquely placed to partner with Randox on this time critical project. They have been integral to the success of the program and with their extensive operational and logistical knowledge, delivering compliant and consistent facilities in record time. The EMS Group were the perfect partner for Randox on this initiative and we are proud of what the program has achieved so far."
