A mobile solution to meet changing demands

We are working with Manchester Royal Eye Hospital to provide a bespoke mobile Macular Treatment Centre. The facility includes consultation rooms, a scanning room and a clean room for injections and provides a convenient choice of location for patients.

It currently provides 200 additional clinic slots each week, meeting the rise in demand and easing the capacity pressure at the hospital. It means they can continue to deliver vital, local, time-critical treatments to patients suffering from Age Related Macular Degeneration wAMD.

Helen Bateman - Matron from CMFT said: “We were able to extend the high quality, safe and leading-edge eye-care treatment to a community based setting and received exceptionally positive feedback from both patients and healthcare professionals.”
