From 22-26 September the 12m-long branded vehicle toured busy shopping areas in London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Norwich and Birmingham - all within walking distance of a Vision Express store.
EMS Healthcare adopted its Quest Medical Trailer to include a partition wall, ensuring privacy during eye tests and dimmable lighting was installed to create the desired environment for testing. The facility meets stringent NHS standards and features a spacious, welcoming reception area and a DDA compliant toilet and patient lift.
Equipment installed on board included an Optom combi-unit, Visual Fields Assessment, PC Unit for Initial Exam and an OCT Unit. Data cabling and a router enabled customer database management.
A team of brand ambassadors were recruited and trained to engage passers-by with the campaign.
Keith Austin, CEO at EMS Healthcare said: “We have a large range of medical trailers ready and available to modify and deploy quickly for campaigns such as this. It’s exciting to see more healthcare services being taken direct to the patient with speed and efficiency, from busy town centres and supermarkets to more remote rural sites”
