EMS Healthcare named as supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Vehicle Hire Solutions Framework Press release

EMS Healthcare, a leading supplier of mobile clinics throughout the UK, announced today that it has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Vehicle Hire Solutions Framework (RM6265) on Lot 4: Hire of Emergency Service and Specialist Healthcare Operational Vehicles.

Ellesmere Port-based EMS Healthcare works alongside more than 50 NHS Trusts, Health Boards, and private providers, in delivering mobile capacity that reduces the burden on hospitals. It is also the UK’s biggest mobile clinical research partner.

Cassie Kendrew, Chief Commercial Officer at EMS Healthcare, said: “We are delighted to have been named a supplier on the Vehicle Hire Solutions framework. This achievement presents a diverse range of new business opportunities, allowing us to provide essential mobile healthcare solutions to public bodies across the country.”

“Crown Commercial Service has a clear focus on ensuring the best possible value for the public sector, which is something we always pride ourselves on delivering. We are really excited about exploring potential new initiatives for our mobile clinics over the coming months.”

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

CCS’s Vehicle Hire Solutions framework is available to all UK public sector organisations to easily access services from a range of suppliers that have already gone through a procurement process to assess the quality and price of services. EMS Healthcare will remain the sole supplier of mobile medical units on the four-year lot until 2027.

EMS Healthcare is also an approved supplier on the NHS Supply Chain Framework for Mobile and Strategic Clinical Solutions.
