Mobile vaccination units
We're proud to support with increasing vaccination capacity across the UK
Our mobile clinics are deployed to targeted locations to respond to outbreaks and improve access to essential immunisations. Alongside vaccination delivery, we also support wider preventative health services through community drop-in clinics, offering accessible appointments including cervical screening, basic health checks, and wound care.

Highest vaccination uptake in the South-East
More people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight were protected from COVID-19 than anywhere else in the South-East region, as a result of their 2024 spring programme.
We supported NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board with a mobile vaccination clinic. The region delivered the third highest number of vaccinations nationally, compared to other NHS Integrated Care Boards.
The uptake level in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight was 65.7% - the highest across the South-East and the fifth highest for population uptake across the country.
This phenomenal achievement could not have happened without a huge amount of hard work and collaboration between Primary Care Networks, community pharmacies and the COVID-19 vaccination programme team. Our new roving vaccination vehicle was also launched this spring in partnership with and supported by Hampshire County Council. It has helped us reach members of our local communities who may not have otherwise come forward.

Increasing vaccination capacity
A rapid response to surge vaccinations
Supporting the Department for Health and Social Care, we created mobile vaccination units that could support with the rollout of vaccinations, particularly within COVID-19 breakout areas.
- Deployments to support with surge vaccination demand
- Each unit had a one-way system to minimise crossover and to streamline throughput
- All deadlines met or exceeded and remained within budget
Creating urgent vaccination capacity
Accessible drop-in vaccination clinics in community settings
Fylde Coast Medical Services (FCMS) deployed a mobile vaccination unit to ensure they could continue to deliver planned vaccination clinics in community locations across Blackpool.
- Our team deployed a solution in less than 24 hours
- The mobile clinic reduces health inequalities by offering appointments in community settings
- FCMS can provide clinics in accessible locations to improve access to unvaccinated cohorts
Creating additional vaccination capacity
Our high-capacity mobile vaccination units can support with increasing capacity on your hospital estate or within the community.
