First of its kind solution

The existing decontamination department at Pinderfields General Hospital required vital refurbishment work. As a trust that is committed to using innovations to solve healthcare challenges they commissioned the UK’s first mobile decontamination unit. The first of its kind solution ensures the Trust can continue their endoscope reprocessing services without disruption while the renovation work takes place.

Angela Fairbank, Hospital Sterilisation and Decontamination Department (HSDU) Manager at Pinderfields Hospital, commented; “We are extremely proud to be at the forefront of this new solution. Without the Quest+ Decontamination unit, we were facing a period of sustained disruption to services and patients. EMS came to us with a solution that could not only prevent this from happening, but could create significant efficiencies for the department.”
