Our Future Health
Bringing clinical research into communities
Supporting the UK’s largest ever health research programme
With 10 community research sites across the UK, EMS Healthcare are supporting the Our Future Health programme with their aim of bringing together up to five million people to develop new ways to prevent, detect and treat diseases.
The health research programme is particularly focused on recruiting diverse volunteers. Our Future Health has the largest number of volunteers from more deprived backgrounds and ethnic minority groups of any UK health research programme.
Our Future Health
The use of community-based research sites for the UK’s largest health research programme has been pivotal in increasing representation
million people to take part
of participants from the poorest and most deprived areas of the UK
of participants from Asian backgrounds - a demographic often underrepresented in health research
EMS Healthcare have been pivotal to the ongoing success of Our Future Health and have made a significant contribution to the programme being on target to recruit 1 million participants by the end of September. The EMS team are a pleasure to work with and always come up with solutions and are comfortable working to challenging deadlines for the mobile fleet. We currently have 10 mobile units deployed across England and made the decision earlier this year to appoint EMS as our mobile partner in the devolved nations. The mobile clinics are of a very high standard, and I have visited their HQ and was impressed by the efficiency of their entire operation. I have no hesitation recommending them.
