Biogen
A new approach to Multiple sclerosis
MS patients need to undergo regular IV infusion treatments that can take several hours. Biogen wanted to make these treatments available locally in a friendly, clinically excellent environment.
The mobile facility has everything the clinicians need: cold stores, preparation areas and a spacious 6 bay treatment area, while the patients are provided with an airy and welcoming ward and a soft-chair recovery area for after their treatment, complete with calming mural artwork.
Professor Jeremy Hobart is the consultant leading on this project, he said: “This pilot will dramatically improve our patients’ experience and treatment including during our busy, winter bed pressures."
