Essential cancer care, closer to home

Chemotherapy is an intensive and vital treatment. Clatterbridge Cancer Care felt that a healthcare chemotherapy vehicle could take the Chemotherapy facility closer to patients, which would vastly improve their quality of life and make a welcome improvement to a stressful and exhausting treatment.

We were very proud to have provided them with a clinical-standard specialist facility that was able to deliver excellent clinical care, right in the heart of the community.

Kim Barrow, Head of Chemotherapy at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre commented: “It isn’t possible for some patients to travel to our main site. The mobile unit has been something we’ve been working towards for a long time, in order to ensure that all of our patients have access to our world class services at their own convenience."
