Getting Cervix Savvy

Being the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust wanted to deliver a Roadshow that would educate women on the signs and symptoms as part of their national campaign ‘Eradicate Cervical Cancer’.

The welcoming environment we created helped Jo’s reach out into areas where uptake of cervical screening was low. The private room on board allowed women to seek support from the Roadshow Ambassador and volunteers.

The Result

9,063 conversations provided help and support with issues around cervical cancer

13,050 information travel wallets were handed out across 66 events

3,850 miles were travelled across 34 cities to reach out to women in areas where the cervical screening attendance is low
